Press Release 07/09/07 – The Effects of Food Additives on Children
Clover House’s Co-Founder, Gillian Gill, welcomed recent headlines about the effects of food additives on children.
“Clover House has been working to improve children’s health for over 10 years. In this time we have collected much anecdotal evidence of the negative effects of food additives on children’s health and behaviour. Clover House works to educate children and parents about the effects of poor nutritional choices on their health and wellbeing”.
“Poor nutrition has a negative effect on a child’s behaviour and can cause hyperactivity; changes to diet can have a dramatic effect on children who have ADHD. It can also exacerbate existing emotional and physical conditions and leaves children at risk to obesity and heart disease.”
About Clover House
Clover House offers a pioneering programme of complementary medicine and treats children with emotional, physical or behavioural problems. Last year the ‘Clover House Solution’ resulted in an incredible 97% improvement rate after just three treatment sessions.
“The Clover House Solution combines three natural therapy creative imagery (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), aromatherapy and nutrition. Each therapy is valuable in its own right, but it is our unique fusion that helps us produce such consistent and rapid results,” explained Jill.
“We focus on treating the child, not the problem. We give children a chance to be heard and not the underlying issues, not just the behavioural or physical symptoms that manifest.”
Clover House offers a real solution for children and parents by mobilising children’s inner resources to promote natural healing. Creative imagery helps children to banish their fears and trauma; massage relaxes and gives a child a sense of security and of being loved; nutritional advice shows parents the effects their diet has on their child’s condition.
Many parents are absolutely desperate when they bring their child to Clover House. In many cases the parents have tried conventional medicine but with little success.
Quote from a satisfied parent:
“We were truly desperate; our child was broken and damaged. Our doctor had tried many things with no success and was now recommending the drug Ritalin. We found Clover House, who gave us breathing space. Our child became calmer almost immediately, was freed of his anger and fear and is now a happy well balanced boy again. It’s a miracle.”
Clover House is interested in working any media organisation who would be interested in running a feature about the effects of food additives or ADHD. Gillian Gill is happy to contribute information about children’s health or to be interviewed.
We also have parents who are willing to be interviewed about their positive experience with the Clover House Solution and the effects it had on their child.
