Bristol-based Children’s Charity set to help more children
Now in its ninth year, Clover House Therapy is ready to offer its effective healing treatment to more children. The unique synergy of 3 Complementary Therapies has proven a successful technique to help children and teenagers overcome many different illnesses and conditions stemming from emotional, behavioural and physical problems.
“Based between Bristol and Bath, we are able to help children from any area if parents are prepared to travel to us”, says Rita Marshall, Publicity Officer and Fundraiser for the Charity. “Parents need to know that Clover House Therapy offers an alternative to the despair they so often feel. We offer a relaxed and gentle way to help their child; the results are remarkable. Sometimes changes are so profound that, even after one session, parents feel their child has achieved all they had hoped for”.
Clover House Therapy is a combination of Nutritional Therapy, Creative Imagery and Aromatherapy Massage. “We have seen lots of children respond rapidly to this treatment”, said Gillian Gill, Practice Manager. “Many children suffer needlessly. Orthodox medicine concentrates on curing symptoms, but rarely is emotional and mental suffering addressed. At Clover House we treat the whole child, and not just the symptoms, helping the child to deal with fears and inner turmoil, which is all too often bottled away and presented later as anger and aggression”.
In the Annual Review about to be published, figures show that 67% of children were successfully treated in just THREE sessions of Therapy. Many had previously failed to respond to conventional medical treatment. Gill says,” This year we have treated children suffering School Bullying, Chronic Constipation, Sleeping Difficulties, Obesity, Asthma, Bedwetting, ADHD, Excema, Anxiety, low Self-Esteem - and many more issues, which can cause long-term problems. Children often have difficulty coping with bereavement and other changes, and feel helpless and isolated when they have no say and don’t understand”.
Clover House – sets children free to be happy and healthy.
