Business Student Gives Children’s Charity a Fresh New Look

A Bath University student has given a local children’s charity a makeover as part of her Women into Enterprise business course. Louise Billington is a volunteer Press and PR officer for Saltford-based Clover House, and used the re-branding project as a real-life case study.

“’Women into Enterprise’ is a practical business course for women who are interested in working for themselves. I wanted to launch a business that provided marketing support for creative and lifestyle businesses, and working as a volunteer with Clover House gave me the ideal opportunity to put my idea into practice” said Louise.

The charity, which runs a complementary therapy clinic for children with physical, emotional and behavioural problems, wanted to update their logo and website so that it appealed to parents and also to educational and healthcare professionals. Bath-based Imagine Design Associates were commissioned to work on the rebranding and website design, and Clover House is delighted with the results.

“Our previous website had become a little tired and dated, and we wanted something that looked fresh and appealing and clearly explained what we do”, said Practice Manager Gillian Gill. “Clover House launched in 1996 and we have achieved an extremely high success rate in treating children suffering from a wide range of health and emotional problems. As a small charity, our main problem is raising our profile so that parents are aware of us and know they can get in touch if they are concerned about their child’s health or wellbeing. Our aim is to double the number of children we treat in the next year, and we hope our new look will help us to do that”.
